Greetings From the President:

Grace and Peace be Multiplied to you,

I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

I am honored and humbled to begin this journey to serve as your new President of the American Baptist Women’s Ministries of the Philadelphia Baptist Association Region (ABWM-PBA). I am excited to see how God is going to continue to bless this ministry. We give all praise and honor to God for the Immediate Past President- Reverend Dr. Suzanne Kershaw and the Officers who have served faithfully and were committed to be of service to God and His people. As we transition with the new leadership and incoming officers, we honor the shoulders upon which we stand.

The COVID-19 Pandemic affected all of us globally and locally. It has been a great challenge to continue to stay connected as a ministry while traveling through the uncharted waters of this lingering pandemic. As we move forward with anticipation and excitement, the American Baptist Women’s Ministries-PBA will continue to carry out the rich Mission and Core Values related to this ministry. We will encourage and support all women, young ladies/girls with:

  • Regular/Continued Prayers! (I Thessalonians 5:16-18)
  • Revisiting/Revising/Restructuring! (I Corinthians 14:40)
  • Reconnection! (Hebrews 10:25)
  • Reviving! (Psalm 19:7; 119:28)
  • Releasing and Representing the Kingdom of God! (2 Timothy 1:6, Romans 12:6, I Peter 4:10, Matthew 28:18-20)

We are praying boldly to God for wisdom, direction and discernment through His Word which is the Master Blueprint (Hebrews 4:12) in all that we say and do. We invite you to join us as we embark on this new season of continued service to God and others in Jesus Name!

In His Service,

Reverend Lynn Marie Bethea

ABWM/PBA- President
